PRESENTATION
When you feel the need to create something that satisfies our hunger for positivity, the desire for healthy entertainment,
the need to share with others and a passion to express what more real and spontaneous’s in each of us , goes in search of the instrument that allows the execution of those who may be “small dreams”. And it is precisely during this search that I came across in what initially appears as a mere discipline of dance: Tango Argentino.
But soon I realised that there is in much more there’s a world that incorporates more than a century of history that leads inevitably, if interpreted in the right way, to renew values, a little sadly today forgotten, such as kindness, respect for others, the exploitation of women with a return to courtesy as a tool to call for what is not only the dance of a song but, as the Master says Pugliese Mingo, “a love that normally lasts three minutes, but can last throughout life, as has happened to him with his wife Esther. It must be said also that a lot of people
who increasingly similar to Tango Argentino and most, I say with great pleasure, consists of young people, for the reasons set out so far, along with recognized elegance, their passion and sensuality of this kind of dance.
These and other reasons have led me to form an association, “Tango Abruzo”, a non-profit, but that had as its sole aim to promote as much as possible the Tango Argentino in its true essence. From ‘meeting with the great masters and Argentine Esther Mingo Pugliese, whose reputation is known throughout the world and represent real Tango icons of the past fifty years, was born our school which has its headquarters in Pescara and that is starting new courses in other cities.
And from the great passion for Tango Argentino has been born a desire to organize an international festival that had the characteristics of high level organisational and guests who represented the best Tango Argentino in all its aspects, that is to say the artistic one, the musical and teaching.
